MUDRAS & MANTRAS: Embody Change
Mudras are gestures of the hands that promote physical,
psychological, and spiritual balance. Mantras are sounds or
vibrations in the form of syllables, words, or phrases which are
repeated to shift our energy. Together, mantra and mudra can
rearrange the habits of the brain, the neural pathways in the body,
and create profound change. Join Ellen for this special opportunity
to explore love, compassion, connection, and transformation.
ASSISTED STRETCH: Embody YOUR yoga
The power of touch is undeniable and well-executed assists can
deepen the yoga experience on many levels. Yoga assists are not
meant to fix, adjust, or correct a posture. They are about helping
you experience and embody yoga in your own unique body. Mindful,
guided touch facilitates the movement of prana (energy) and
supports subtler, more refined alignment, stability, extension, and
release. And…it feels amazing! Join Ellen for this lovely practice
with multiple hands-on assists.
YOGA NIDRA: Deep Peace
Yoga Nidra is a method of guided relaxation that has a profound
effect on the body, mind, and emotions. In this ancient practice,
sometimes referred to as Yogic Sleep, body and mind enter a state
of deep, receptive relaxation through systematic, guided
breathwork, body scanning and visualization. Done lying down, it is
among the deepest possible states of relaxation while maintaining
full consciousness. Class will begin with a short series of gentle
movement and yoga postures, followed by the Yoga Nidra practice. No
yoga or meditation experience necessary.
