Enjoy the
benefits of boxing & yoga all in one class! This class will
feature 45 minutes of Shadow Boxing led by Brenna Buscher followed
by 30 minutes of recovery aerial yoga led by our own Jessica Lubin.
Get ready to rumble in the shadow boxing portion of class, designed
to get your muscles firing and heart pumping to give you an epic
and fun workout! The aerial yoga portion will help your muscles
recover after all the hard work you just put in, emphasizing
functional flexibility targeting the hips, hamstrings, shoulders
and back while using the aerial yoga swing!
Why
Boxing and aerial yoga? These two exercises are fantastic
complements to each other! Boxing teaches speed, strength, and
power, but you also need awareness and a calm mind/body to allow
you to conserve your energy and use it when it matters most. Yoga
teaches a strong mind, calmness, flexibility and awareness, but
also requires strength, power, and a fighting spirit. Together,
boxing and yoga will help you unlock the fighter within.
