We welcome you to join us in a 4-week immersive journey into the
healing and restorative practice of Meditation! This
educational and relaxing Life in Balance Healing Therapies
Meditation series is designed for the beginner as well as those
looking to rekindle or enhance their existing practice. Winter is
the perfect time for initiating more self-care practices, as we
find ourselves in colder, darker spaces and in the belly of our
root season. Winter is a season of inner growth and needed rest and
a time to carry your own sunshine which is the perfect pairing for
Meditative Practices! We will explore many of these meditative
practices, healing modalities & techniques, including
Praanaayaam (Yogic Breathing), Mindfulness, Transformation, Mantra,
Guided, Moving, Chakra Balancing, Healing Arts, Body Scan and
Loving Kindness Meditations. Each session will begin with an
informative lesson sharing and end with a guided meditation
practice. We will discuss and experience the magnitude of benefits
Meditation provides which includes immune system enhancement,
lowered blood pressure, stress & anxiety relief, pain
management, mental focus, emotional well-being, increased
self-awareness, sleep improvement, and so much more! We will
be informed on how to overcome existing challenges and mindset
obstacles such as the commonly heard “I can't meditate, my mind is
too busy” and the idea that joy, peace, and contentment come from
external situations in our human existence. If you are
feeling called to begin a beautiful self-care meditation practice,
we would love to guide your curiosity and hold space for your
healing path!
Session 1: Meditation 101- Defining the Process and Practice of
Meditation. Introduction to Praanaayaama. Guided Meditation.
Session 2: Meditative Healing Arts workshop & project. Therapeutic Moving Meditation Exercise.
Session 3: Healing Energy Immersion. Sound Healing. Chakra Balancing Meditation.
Session 4: Deepening the Practice. Progressive Deep Relaxation. Guided Meditation.
What to bring: (recommended/optional): water bottle, comfortable attire, yoga mat and/or meditation cushion or pillow, small blanket, notebook/journal.
