In this yoga flow (vinyasa) style practice, we will move through postures with our breath. This practice is appropriate for those familiar with basic yoga postures or already taking vinyasa or slow flow and capable of understanding verbal cueing rather than visual. The practice will include options for modification to fit the needs of those attending. The instructor will offer hands-on touch with care to enhance or direct the posture, or to help alignment. The assists will be used with compassion and care to ensure your comfort with the option for each participant to opt out of hands-on assists at any time.
WHAT ARE HANDS-ON ASSISTs? Hands-on assists is physical touch by the instructor used as a teaching tool in yoga practice. This form of guidance is used to help experience stability, alignment & expansion in the body with your consent. Hands-on assists are viewed in a similar way to using props.
