This practice will allow you to go deeper into poses, as you connect to your breath and began to trust your body and what it needs. Yin is a style of yoga, where the poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes. Still, I encourage you to listen to your body and what it truly needs. Some poses will feel amazing being held for long periods of time and others, not so much. Be gentle with yourself and don't forget to breath. While you will be building your strength, flexibility, and endurance, the main focus should be on connecting to what your body is trying to tell you.
