A balanced practice with dynamic movements, longer held
postures, physical alignment, pauses between poses, work with the
breath, and meditation. These aspects of practice are used to
prepare body and mind, to find ease while building strength and
stamina, to affect energy and increase the capacity for
concentration as well as to create depth and meaning. The class
includes mindful vinyasa, but whether to flow or not to flow will
often be up to you.
Inspired by the motto “elevate your practice, elevate your life”
this class invites self-reflection, exquisite attention, and
slowing down. Posture variations and modifications are offered to
honor individual requirements, and the use of props is encouraged.
Some yoga experience is recommended.
