This core focused class is a dynamic way to experience the healing restorative practice of Pilates combined with some basic yoga postures. Pilates is based on a series of rehabilitation exercises designed to strengthen the core muscle groups to help prevent injuries. In this class we will focus on building our core stabilizing muscles by exploring many aspects of traditional yoga practice along with pilates mat work. Come prepared to stretch, strengthen, and tone. Great for all levels. Weights will be provided.
