In Mindful Vinyasa Flow we use the breath-to-movement
connection to create a fluid practice that deepens our awareness of
where we are and how we are moving our bodies on and off of our
mats. We will take the opportunity to slow down, tune our attention
inwards and pause between sequences. Similar to all Yoga practices,
our mindfulness will also be focused on maintaining proper
alignment as we move from pose-to-pose.
This is an all levels, warm class (class will not get warmer than 85 degrees) where students are encouraged to move at their own pace. As we build the awareness of our bodies and breath, from time-to-time students will be asked to close their eyes as they move through sequences so that they can experience poses in a different, more mindful way.
