This is AERIAL STRONG
FLOW YOGA class. There are NO first timers in the silks in
this class. You must have taken the prerequisite BEGINNER before
attending this class.

This class builds upon the knowledge of the Aerial Yoga
Beginners class. Taking the basics an applying them into flow,
balances and inversions.
Your mat practice is being brought into the air! This aerial yoga class is designed for anyone seeking to a more vigorous AERIAL flow in their practice. The 60-minute class has a faster pace than our Aerial Slow Flow class. Building endurance and flexibility will be primary focuses in this class as we are led by faster music to guide our practice. Building muscle endurance and encouraging deeper stretches will help in creating a balanced whole body. This class will feature faster transitions, repetition of movements and longer inversions. There will be a cool-down period with a short savasana to close class.
While practicing Aerial Yoga, students will move through the same basic elements of a floor practice (pranayama, asanas, savasana), while utilizing the aerial silks as a prop. You will be elevated in the fabric or will use it for alignment throughout the entire class. Some postures will involve only partial support from the silks while others will require complete trust in the fabric as it supports 100% of the body weight. The aerial silks assists alignment, deepens awareness and provide immediate benefits of spinal decompression.
