This is a “No OM zone” class focusing on building strength and stamina in the physical body with a focus on the core muscles of the torso, pelvic & hip region, and shoulder girdle. Strengthening is balanced with stretching to encourage suppleness in these areas as well. Class ends with 15 - 20 minutes of postures to stretch and elongate the body, allowing the body and mind to completely relax. This class is appropriate for those new to Yoga as well as those with plenty of yoga experience – options and modifications are always offered.
