CLASS DESCRIPTION: INTERMEDIATE LEVEL YOGA

Sequences with minimalist queuing are designed to offer an experienced yoga practitioner the opportunity for an intermediate level group yoga practice.

Familiarity with pose names as well as alignment for common standing, balancing, seated, kneeling, and lying postures is expected. Variations and modifications are welcome. Drawing from the versatility of yoga, expect a practice that may include a combination of hatha-style held poses and flow-style sequencing.

This class is intended to give practitioners time on the mat to incorporate all eight limbs into their practice. Class will include pranayama (breath work) and dharana (meditation).

This class is intended for those who have completed a 200-hour YTT or those who have established a consistent, weekly yoga practice at Longevita for at least 12 consecutive months. This is not a mixed-level drop-in class.

Please call the studio at (253) 249-7456 to inquire about booking a space in this class.

This class will be held in the hot room with the temperature set to a cozy 85-90 degrees. Come to class well hydrated!
