Pilates 4 Dancers focuses on incorporating effective breath patterns, increasing pelvis stability, and strengthening postural muscles of the abdomen, upper & lower back, and legs through basic and intermediate Pilates mat exercises and use of small props. Improving core strength and building mind-body awareness are an effective preparation for ballet class that will enhance a dancer's strength, control, coordination, and balance. This class encouorages the dancer towards managing self care and supporting their more advanced vocabulary.
This class is part of the curriculum for Level 4 Students.
