Do you know that yoga is so much more than what we do in a studio or on our mats?! This workshop will explore how to live yoga, not just practice it occasionally. We’ll discuss yoga philosophy, specifically the yamas (yoga ethics) and the niyamas (personal observances) as guidelines for how to live our lives using yoga principles. We’ll use some of the tools you might be familiar with: asana (postures), meditation, pranayama (breath practices), mudra (hand positions) and affirmations to explore the first two limbs of yoga.
Expect a longer discussion and a short all-levels practice. Bring (or borrow) a yoga mat, a journal and an open mind.
