Beginner yoga & core basics is a 9-week series suitable for anyone brand new to yoga or students wanting to brush up on the basics. In this series we introduce yoga philosophy, and practice breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, core basics, and the foundational postures. We discuss alignment and how to modify each posture for your body using yoga props. All yoga props will be provided and introduced throughout the series to ensure each student practices at their own pace to help gain strength, flexibility, and balance. This series will take place in a non-competitive environment where each student will learn to connect mind, body, and breath.
