



This course explores pranayama in the classic context with focus on the respiratory system, subtle functioning of the breath, Nadis, Siva Samhita (four stages) and the effects of pranayama on specific wellness situations and/or diseases of mind and body. We also cover elements of subtle body studies & correlating philosophy, including koshas, kleshas & the role of practices such as mudras and chanting for deeper connections.

Featuring gentle movements and meditation practices to bring you closer to a balnaced center. Several meditation practices will be introduced including candle gazing, mudra work, guided visualization, and Yoga Nidra. The physical practice will be gentle, slow and meditative to conncet the body and breath with focused awareness. The included rounding practice interspereses meditation practices between gentle movements in one beautifully balanced experience.
