This is an introductory level for Absolute Beginners. Adults will enjoy learning Tap terminology, technique, and steps over this progressive session. Develop confidence, mental concentration, physical coordination and musicality. This registered course is for students who are new to Tap, students who want to dance, but never had the opportunity, and for those who have danced before and want to begin again.
This class:
- Introduces you to basic steps like flaps, taps, time steps, cramp rolls and more
- Includes a warm up that focuses on technique
- Includes progressions across the floor with choreography and improv
- Trains the body and the ear to move to different rhythms
- Strengthens timing, speed and coordination
