This is an introductory level course for absolute beginner dancers. The complex journey of jazz dance will be explored through a syllabus that traces the evolution of this nuanced style. By the end of the session, students will have learnt various vernacular & modern jazz dance fundamentals, expanded their musicianship, and developed physical & mental agility. This registered course is ideal for adults who have no previous experience with jazz dance but have always wanted to try, as well as for students who’ve taken jazz class in the past and want to reconnect with their love of dance.

An introductory level for Absolute Beginners. Adults will enjoy learning Heels technique, safe practices, repertoire and more over this 7-week progressive session. Develop confidence, strength, and physical coordination This registered course is for students who are new to Heels, students who want to dance, but never had the opportunity, and for those who have danced before and want to begin again!
Footwear: A dance heel is preferable (check out our shop!) Flexible sole, strap around the ankle for security recommended. No wedges. MUST WEAR NON STREAKING SOLES.
