Burlesque offers people of all shapes and sizes a sensual performance tradition that deftly combines allure with satire and tease. Classes will focus on the building block movements of burlesque, classic struts, shimmies, and the traditional bump and grinds. Students will learn the importance of props like gloves and boas along with strategic clothing reveals. We’ll also learn some history behind the art of striptease while working on some fun and frisky choreography and creating your very own burlesque persona. Learn from a loccal burlesque performer, Noelle Reign!
Cost and Registration
* Cost is $375/week. Camp is 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day. Campers bring their own lunch.
For 5 days, your kids will be immersed in circus arts, mat yoga and other modalities of fitness and wellness.

- We will have 2 crafts throughout the week
- Various Wellness techniques (Healthy cooking/snacks, meditation singing bowls, essential oils, etc)
- We will spend an hour a day at the park
- End of session performance for family
Your child will not only have loads of fun, but our camp instills your children to:
- Build confidence
- Learn teamwork
- Gain a love of various physical activities
- Make friends
- Is challenged intellectually and physically
At the end of camp, we hold a student showcase where your kids will show off the skills they learned during the week!
Kids camp is nonrefundable unless the studio must cancel for
emergency circumstances. At which point the dollar amount will be
returned back to your Studio account to be used at a later
time.

We are continuously amazed by your creativity and grace when it comes to creating your own performance pieces. Get those creative juices flowing, we can't wait for you to dazzle the audience on either August 15, 16 or 17( final date TBD) at 7pm! Unfortunately we won’t have the exact date until May 1st. If you are signing up to perform you MUST be available on all 3 dates. Spaces are limited and there will be no refunds for cancelations
If you're new to joining a showcase, don't be nervous! Our team of passionate instructors are here to help you in any and every way! We can't wait to see your individuality shine and what you come up with on your chosen apparatus! We welcome any and all circus arts performances in the air or on the ground. We will be including a compilation of halftime performers that could range from fire, burlesque, contortion, juggling, etc..

ELIGIBILITY:
- Application and a $85 submission fee is required, see below.
- Only 12 participants will be accepted.
-You must be a student of Good Karma Studio and have taken a minimum of 10 classes on the apparatus performing with.
- You are responsible for music, costume, choreography. Song 2-3min max
REQUIREMENTS:
-A minimum of 2 private sessions must be booked with a studio coach. (This is your responsibility & we recommend booking two weeks in advance for teachers availability)
- First private must be booked asap between now & the first week of June timeframe for performance design & layout.
- Second private must be booked no later July 25th to finalize.
- Last year we found many people booked 3 and even 4 privates. Know you can book however many you'd like!
-Must attend a minimum of 3-4 Open Gyms per month to practice your routine and spread out your classes.
-Your open gym requirements must be met before the showcase. classes will not carry over and can not be used after August 15/16/17.
- Payment plan: You have the option to pay in full, or with a payment plan of $166.67 up every 3 weeks, with the first payment being up front.You must email us at info@thegoodkarmastudio and request to do this! Otherwise continue to sign up in full and secure your spot!!
