The organization we fundraise for is Channing's Joy Foundation. It was founded in 2022 by Channing's mama, Lauren. The foundation is ran solely by Lauren (with the help of her husband, Chad) and is dedicated to promoting inclusion and acceptance of autism and all individuals with special needs. Channing, the foundation's namesake, was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in 2018.

Whether you’re stepping onto your mat for the very first time or returning to the foundations, this workshop offers a supportive space to build confidence, strength, and ease in your practice.
Together, we’ll
explore:
• Foundational postures, broken down step by step
• Gentle alignment guidance for strength and stability
• Variations to meet you where you are
• Connecting breath with movement and stillness
Leave feeling grounded, empowered, and more present each time you step onto your mat.
Summer special: six-week journey toward improving posture, health, and emotional well-being.
Benefits of mindful yoga in kids:
Reduce anxiety and daily stress;
Improve focus and optimism;
Improve sports actively involved in;
Improve body image;
Improve self-esteem;
Foster creativity and decisions “outside the box”;
Develop self regulation and emotional intelligence.
Tweens are formative years that can be challenging with bodily changes, mood swings, and increased stress levels both academically and athletically. Kids are expected to excel while not taught any skills on how to regulate their often overloaded and still developing nervous system.
The more connected students become with technology the less connected they are to their bodies. Our goal at the end of each tweenteen course is not just to release the “tech neck” but also to build confidence, self-esteem and self-regulation.
Using yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathing tools), guided meditation (relaxation) and discussion we will guide kids to form a foundation for self-understanding, nurture self-love, and inspire personal growth.
