Most people are not aware of the amount of tension they carry within their bodies. By releasing any pent up energy, we then allow the space to find the opening from within, which in turn brings about Freedom.
This workshop will unfold systematically to melt away the layers of unnecessary tension. First, grounding through Mantra (sound) & Pranayama (breath); sound with option to receive the vibration or choose to chant along and also breathing. Then movement; a sweet, slow flow allowing the body to build it's own natural heat, while working with the exploratory movements that best serve your body, as each body is different. Scratch a little deeper beneath the surface with more Pranayama (breath) techniques. This prepares you nicely for releasing layers of what we old onto and then cultivating these different tools. Finally, you will drop inward to restorative postures, a nice long Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep: Deep Relaxation) where the space you found will be filled full of love, joy, compassion, and/or whatever arises!
Consider bringing a journal, pen, and an extra layer including socks, as the body may chill during the Yoga Nidra.
