You are invited to join Holistic Wellness Practitioner Stacey Pickering for a restorative sound bath, including crystal singing bowls, intuitive vocalization & other vibrationally healing instrumentation.
Crystal singing bowls, made of quartz and other gemstones, are used in ceremony, meditation, and various transformative experiences. They produce strong, clear, true tones that resonate deeply in our bodies & energetic systems. The vibrations that ring out from the bowls create clear pathways in us for opening, release, connection, balance & stillness. Their powerful sounds can help us feel grounded, energized, peaceful, uplifted and whole.
Sound vibrations have the power to clear mental clutter & allow space for new neural pathways, helping to catalyze the creation of what we want to be & see more of in our lives & in the world.
Join Stacey to reset, rebalance, and reconnect with yourself.

Join Sororii, Cleveland’s new world-indie duo, and Hope Hamling, teacher at Abide Yoga, for a beautiful evening of cello, bassoon, vocals, and easygoing movement. Meaning sisterhood, Sororii invites soul-seekers to join in friendship to connect with their inner feminine and celebrate our shared humanity across cultures.
Sororii is a female-led band featuring Afro-Colombian cellist Carolina Borja, and bassoonist Arleigh Savage. Sororii formed in 2021 during the height of the pandemic with the spirit to reclaim sisterhood and explore feminine voices across cultures. Their music blends warm, melodic bassoon lines, plucked and strummed cello, and voice; creating instrumental grooves with underlying world, latin, and afro beats.
Hope Hamling is the founder of Abide Larchmere and Abide West in Lakewood. She believes that finding a sense of ease in the physical body is our birthright, and helps show you how.

Have you heard of Human Design but don’t quite know where to begin? Perhaps you’ve heard of auras. Did you know that your aura type works in a particular way? Come explore one of the most pivotal cornerstones of the vast Human Design system - Aura Types - through the lens of embodiment via somatic dance. Both Human Design and Somatic Dance are tools to decondition who we were taught to be in favor of who we are naturally designed to be. We’ll nerd out together, connect dots you never knew connected, and have embodied connection to ourselves (and each other!) through some lively and heart-led Somatic Dance.
Date: Saturday, May 18th, 2024 @ 1-4p
Where: Abide West, at the Willow Room Salon, Lakewood, OH
Duration: 3 hours
Price: $45 / $55 / $65

The form of poetry we will write, Gogyohka, celebrates the freedom in being a little off kilter, in surprising the pen with what the human experience has to offer. What’s more liberating than not knowing what will come next, what will come out of you, what moments and thoughts and feelings that have been stored for how many seasons and suddenly sprout onto paper?
***
No experience reading or writing is required. Please bring paper and a pen or pencil with you. This is not a poetry workshop. No critical evaluation of your poetry will take place. A heart cannot be questioned, only encouraged.
Light meal, good times, an embodiment practice, writing gogyohka, and optional sharing. Gogyohka Uta-Kai is super fun!
