This Yin Yoga Exploration of the Chakras gentle stretch series is designed to empower you to experience your subtle, or energetic, body. Each week we will explore one of the 7 essential chakras. Practicing yoga for your chakras means becoming aware of the themes related to each chakra, or energy center, starting at the base of the spine and working your way upward through all seven chakras. It can help you understand what they represent for you and what it feels like when you’re experiencing either a lack or an excess around a particular area in life. It is an opportunity to learn about yourself and to explore questions related to essential life themes.
