SATURDAY Beginners' Series

For those new to Iyengar Yoga. Fast-paced class for healthy beginners. Although there is no age limit, the class is designed for those under 40. Expect continual movement with minimal props for one hour. Must have healthy feet, ankles, knees, for jumping. Focus on conditioning and learning basic postures with alignment.
This series is designed for people who want to learn yoga as a rigorous, intelligent practice rather than a casual workout. Those new to Iyengar Yoga should stay in Beginners' class for at least one year.
The series progresses week by week. Regular attendance is expected, as each class builds on the previous one.
