Prenatal Yoga can:

- Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth

- Decrease lower back pain, nausea, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches and shortness of breath

Prenatal yoga can also help you meet and bond with other pregnant women, building friendships and sharing in the experience of pregnancy and childbirth.

Yin and Pin with Jennifer Greenlaw leading the Yin portion and Charlene Pierce DOMP, R.Ac, RMT leading the Pin portion. While you're lying with your pins in at the end of your practice, Jennifer will lead you through a guided Yoga Nidra.
 
The cost of each session is $50+txs, and you will receive a $30 receipt for the acupuncture portion of your session that you can provide for insurance.

What We’ll Cover:

Barre Foundations & Alignment

Learn the core postural principles that make Barre both safe and effective. We’ll explore neutral spine, proper hip alignment, scapular stability, and how to engage the deep core throughout class.

Positions & Terminology

From first, second, fifth, and parallel positions to pliés, relevés, pulses, and lifts—you’ll gain a clear understanding of the vocabulary used in class and how each movement supports functional strength.

Barre Technique at the Barre

Experience step-by-step instruction on lower-body work, including thigh series, glute and seat activation, and calf strengthening. You'll learn how to work with precision, small ranges of motion, and intentional muscle engagement to feel the “Barre burn.”

Upper Body & Core Essentials

We’ll break down Barre-style arm sequences using light weights and controlled movement, followed by foundational core exercises to help you build stability, stamina, and endurance.

Modifications & Progressions

Learn how to customize your practice—whether you’re seeking low-impact or wanting to level-up. We’ll cover safe knee and low-back alignment, plus options for beginners, prenatal clients, and those returning from injury.

Flow + Mini-Class

Put the fundamentals into practice with a guided mini Barre class to integrate what you’ve learned, improve body awareness, and build confidence.
