How can we find unity outside if we don’t know what it feels like within ourselves?
Every one of us was born with innate and intelligent whole body patterns. Your asana practice is the perfect playground for revisiting and exploring these embodied memories.
Wholistic movement encourages you to feel into and trust connective capacity within. Breathing practices invite you to drop into deeper layers of unifying experience. Yoga nidra promotes renewal beyond your conscious mind. Meditation guides you toward more expansive and permeating consciousness. Partner inquiry deepens our capacity for dancing in the relational universe.
Core teachings from yogic texts will aid our journey in navigating the pulsation between unity and diversity. The Bhagavad Gita guides us how to proceed when we feel frozen, standing at the precipice of a battle with our relations. The Pratyabhijnahrdayam maps out universal expansion and contraction – and shows us how to journey from forgetting back to remembering essence.
This knowledge – passed down through living wisdom streams – illuminates the veils of illusion that keep us small, separate, and stuck. Now more than ever we are being invited, initiated and empowered to live and act from embodied connection!
This is a HYBRID workshop.

Join Johanna for an evening of heart-opening cacao, guided meditation, and soothing sound. We’ll work with the Mayan energy of 1 Q’anil—the seed—an auspicious day for planting intentions, nurturing creativity, and calling in new growth.
You’ll be guided through a brief teaching on the meaning of 1 Q’anil and how to harness this energy in your everyday life, followed by a warm cup of ceremonial cacao to gently awaken the heart. From there, we’ll move into a grounding meditation circle and a restorative soundbath using crystal bowls and other vibrational instruments to support deep rest and reset.
This workshop is ideal if you’re ready to:
-
Set clear, heart-centered intentions for a new cycle
-
Learn how to work with the Mayan day energy in a practical way

Trouble sleeping? Waking between 2-4 am? Not falling to sleep
before 2 am? You are not alone. Ayurveda teaches that as we age, we
can feel more anxious, restless,
overheated, and frustrated during the night. We may find ourselves
lying awake when we desperately want to rest.
This gentle, experiential class offers tools that can bring
immediate relief. You’ll learn why sleep becomes more fragile over
time, how to soothe the nervous
system (to deepen sleep) using simple Ayurvedic rituals, and
experience the grounding practice of a mini
abhyanga (Ayurvedic self-oil massage).
You will leave
with:
A simple 3-step Ayurvedic night routine
A short breath practice to calm the racing mind
A guided rest ritual you can repeat at home
A taste of the practices we’ll deepen in the upcoming 6-week
series
This intro class stands alone and is the perfect starting place if
you are considering
joining the full Restful Evenings: A 6-Week Ayurvedic Journey into
Deep Sleep Series.
