Many people view asanas and advancing in the practice of asanas predominantly as a matter of becoming more flexible. However, flexibility is always in a dynamic relationship with strength. Even in poses where significant amount of flexibility is required, we must engage muscles to avoid overstretching. Staying strong in every pose and learning to engage our muscles properly inspires a sense of steadiness, the more steady we feel in our asana practice the more steady in turn we will feel in our mind. As we practice asana, there is an ever evolving relationship between becoming strong and staying steady while opening up the body.
This week we will practice asanas and pranayama techniques that will help you strengthen hips, legs, ankles, and feet.

You can enroll to a single class ($20) or to all classes ($40). If you enroll to all classes make sure you select all classes (even if you are not attending to a particular class) in order to get the recording (Mysore classes are not recorded).
