Week 34 -Balance: hands and feet Virtual

Balance is our ability to maintain our body in a steady position so that it does not fall. It is a combination of proprioception, reactivity in the nervous system, and strength of the muscular system. Proprioception is the nervous system’s ability to know where our body is in space. This can be increased dramatically with balancing postures. As we increase proprioception, we will also develop reactive muscular patterns by training the stabilizers of our limbs to automatically engage to prevent involuntary weight shifting. 

This week we will work on increasing strength of the muscles involved in balance, including the muscles that surround the ankles, hips, wrists and shoulders.

9:30 - 10:30am Pranayama (NO FEE -EVERYONE IS WELCOME)

You can enroll to a single class ($20) or to all classes ($40). If you enroll to all classes make sure you select all classes (even if you are not attending to a particular class) in order to get the recording (Mysore classes are not recorded). When you select all classes it will add up the price of each single class, don't get scare! click continue and it will show the correct price option ($40) before you complete the sale.
