This class builds upon the pre-ballet curriculum taught in Pre-Balletblnk,, II and introduces new ballet steps, vocabulary, and concepts. Students continue to develop gross and fine motor skills, strength and flexibility, rhythm, musicality, discipline, body and spatial awareness, balance, posture, coordination, cooperation, working with a partner, creativity, stage directions and patterns, and self-expression.
Class Placement: Completed Pre-Ballet II by Instructor Approval or 6 yrs old by September 1, 2025.
Full School Year Program: September 6, 2025 – May 16, 2026. All classes run the full 2024–25 school year and perform at the end of the school year Showcase, A Celebration of Dance. There is a small $25 fee for the rental of costuming elements used in the production.
