Whether you’re aspiring to teach or seeking personal growth, this transformative experience is for you.
Welcome the New Year with an ancient yogic tradition of 108 Sun Salutations, a powerful practice that marks transition, renewal, and conscious intention-setting. As we step into a new season and a new chapter, this practice invites deep reflection, helping us pause, reset, and realign with what we wish to cultivate moving forward.
Through rhythmic, repetitive movement and breath, Sun Salutations create a strong bridge between mind and body. Physically, this full-body flow strengthens and stretches major muscle groups, lubricates the joints, boosts circulation, and builds cardiovascular resilience. Mentally and energetically, the repetition anchors you in the present moment, quieting mental chatter and cultivating focus, clarity, and inner peace.
This practice is for everyone. You are encouraged to take breaks, modify poses, and adjust the pace to honor your body and energy levels. Whether you complete all 108 or rest along the way, the intention remains the same: to move mindfully, stay present, and step into the New Year with strength, balance, and purpose—one breath at a time.
Come move, breathe, and sing together from feet to crown in this joyful, interactive family yoga class inspired by the children’s musical storybook All Through the Crown, created by author and mindful movement educator Rachel Glowacki.
We’ll share playful movement, snuggle time, a reading of the book, and kid-friendly chakra reflections. We’ll end with a gentle sound bath to relax everybody, plus time to connect with me as the author.
Ideal for families with children ages 2–7. No yoga experience needed--just bring comfy clothes and your open child-like hearts. Older children are of course welcome and can get silly and play, too.
