BACHATA STRUT YOUR STUFF - ROBSON SQUARE 2026

Admission into Baza's Strut Your Stuff Student teams is by audition only. Please register and participate in the Apr 10 audition FIRST. Registration and payment for admitted students will be arranged after audition results.

Baza's Strut Your Stuff challenge is specifically designed for students who have been taking Baza's Progressive Partner Dance Courses for at least 9 months (currently in their first round of Intermediate or higher) OR possess equivalent dance knowledge and experience in Bachata. Students MUST have a solid foundation in Bachata and Bachata body movement and be dancing socially for at least 9 months.

Students will learn a 2 minute choreographed Bachata partnered routine which will be performed at a Sunday Afternoon Salsa at Robson Square in July 2026.
This routine will be a mix of partnerwork and solo footwork. There is an audition required to join this team, and team directors have the right to accept students according to ratio requirements.

Training schedule: Fridays, 6:15 - 7:30pm from Apr 17 to July 17. No class on May 15 or July 3. 15 hours of training over 12 classes. 75 minutes per class.
Performance and tech schedule:
Performance dates tbc, but likely July 19 or July 26. Students wishing to perform at Robson Square MUST be able to attend all training classes in June and July.

Team directors reserve the right to decide which students are ready to perform or not.

Cost: $442.50 + GST per person (payment plan available, member discounts apply)

(please note there may be addtional cost for costume/shoes expenses which students will be responsible for - instructors will do their best to take budget constraints into account when determining costuming)
