course is direct-to-waitlist and qualified students will be
admitted as the lead-follow ratio allows. Students who register
with an opposite-role-buddy will be admitted together as long as
studio capacity allows.

Sensual Foundations introduces and refines the essential
movements and techniques of Bachata Sensual, focusing on connection
principles, partner responsiveness, and musical expression. This
course is not just about learning moves - it's about understanding
the mechanics behind them, deconstructing them for creativity, and
executing them with precision and flow.By the end of the course,
students will:
- Confidently execute and transition between core sensual bachata elements,
- Understand and perform common body movements and isolations with clarity and precision,
- Add dynamics to their dancing through sensual basic and bolero technique,
- Refine their connection and frame,
- Make their dancing more playful and responsive by listening to and interpreting energy changes in the music.

Prerequisites:
- Solid grasp of bachata fundamental (6 months - 1 yr of bachata experience)
- Basic understanding of leading and following technique
- Social dance experience (at least 6 months)
- Willingness to develop body movement, control and isolations, and musical awareness
(No prior Sensual Bachata experience is required, but familiarity is helpful.
