Over this 4-week series you will learn Hanna Somatics techniques to directly and indirectly address stress, fatigue, anxiety, and sleep challenges. Classes will be movement-based, mindful, and will highlight slowing down, doing less, and embracing rest. This evening class is the perfect transition to bedtime.
Drop-ins are welcome for students who cannot make the whole series. Classes are verbally guided and will be taught in reclined positions on the floor.
Recorded replay with one week unlimited access will be sent to all students.

Continuum is a pleasurable creative movement practice to reconnect to our internal being. Beginning with breath we ease into a guided moving meditation and deepen into our soul space.
Using subtle vocal sound we calmly generate resonance through our intrinsic layers. Gradually we move into extended movement and embody ways to regenerate. Nourishing weight-bearing motion helps to diminish inflammation as we gain supple strength. Unhurried conscious movement can increase whole-body-plasticity important for cognitive health.
As we enter into the continuum we feel more connected in ourselves and it brings us into a deeper connection with our outer world. We are an integrated whole, we are not alone.
Lynette Kessler’s guided moving meditation is designed for all levels of mobility and experience.

Second Wednesday of the Month: October 8th, November 12th, and December 10th.
Melissa will begin by gently guiding us through Sheng Zhen meditation movements: a heart-opening practice that balances the body, relaxes the mind, and allows Qi (life energy) to flow freely.
Then, as we settle into comfortable nests, Brian will intuitively guide us on a journey through sound with gongs, singing bowls, handpan, flutes, chimes, and other sacred instruments. Immersed in this cosmic ocean of sound, the vibrations gently massage each cell, calm the nervous system, and invite a blissful state of deep relaxation and inner harmony.
