Kirtan is a form of devotional
singing that originates from the Bhakti yoga tradition that
involves singing sacred Sanskrit mantras and hymns, fostering a
sense of community and collective spiritual devotion. This type of
singing isn't about sounding good or staying in key, but about
dropping into the experience within and offering up what's in your
heart.
This kirtan will incorporate chants that celebrate the springtime
energy as we move into the more fertile time of year.

Join Bryce George and Sebastian Haemmerle for a three-part immersion into pranayama—the art of working with the breath to support balance, vitality, and inner awareness.
This series is designed for both students building a personal breath practice and teachers looking to confidently integrate pranayama into their classes. Each session blends accessible movement, clear technique breakdown, and guided breath practices to develop understanding and embodied experience.
While the series is progressive, each session also stands on its own, allowing you to drop in based on what most supports you:
Month 1 — Balancing Duality | [April 12]
Establish a foundation in pranayama through practices that harmonize opposing energies in the body and mind. Centered around Nadi Shuddhi (alternate nostril breath) to cultivate balance and awareness.
Month 2 — Awakening Vitality | [May 31]
Build heat, energy, and internal awareness through dynamic techniques, including kriyas and breath retention. Emphasizing Kapalabhati (skull-shining breath) to stimulate vitality and activate pranic flow.
Month 3 — Deepening Clarity | [June 28]
Refine awareness through subtle, meditative practices that support concentration and inner stillness. Centered on Nadi Shodhana to cultivate clarity and presence.
What to Expect
- Learning through teaching — practice guiding one another to deepen integration and build confidence
- Movement + breath integration — prepare the body, then apply techniques in a grounded way
- Clear, accessible instruction — understand not just how, but why the practices work
- Tools for life and teaching — applicable for personal practice and educational use
Attend a single session or the full series to experience a grounded, experiential approach to working with the breath.
CEU Option pricing :: $75 drop-in or $200 for all 3 sessions
Non-CEU pricing :: $60 drop-in or $150 for all 3 sessions
Eligible for 6 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (2 hours per session).
