Drop-Off Guidelines
Welcome to the Rec Center’s Seasonal Community Clothes
Swap!
Four times a year, we refresh our closets and our community spirit.
Donate your gently-loved items, pay a buck, and find something
new-to-you all weekend long.
How the Swap Works:

You don’t need to donate to participate—but it’s encouraged!

First come, first pick! We do not reserve or hold items.

Leftovers will be donated to local shelters and outreach programs.
We’re Looking For:
Clothing (Adults & Teens – All Genders):
-
Everyday wear (jeans, tees, hoodies, etc.)
-
Business casual/professional pieces
-
Seasonal jackets & coats
-
Clean footwear
-
Accessories (hats, scarves, belts, bags, etc.)
-
Swimwear
Gear (Youth & Adult Sizes):
-
Snow gear: coats, boots, ski/snowboard helmets
-
Sports gear: cleats, gloves, pads, balls, etc.

Outdoor & rec gear: hiking packs, water bottles
(No large items like bikes or treadmills without pre-approval.)
We Cannot Accept:
-
Stained, ripped, or overly worn clothing
-
Undergarments or socks (unless new & packaged)
-
Broken or unsafe gear (especially helmets!)
-
Items with pet hair, smoke smell, or unidentifiable funk
Drop-Off Fee: $1 per Drop
This helps cover event costs and materials. Pay at the front desk—cash or card accepted.

Ages 3 & Up
Prerequisite: NONE
Water Exploration and Safety
Note to parents: Please do NOT bring Goggles, Toys, Swim Cap
Students will begin to feel comfortable in the water, while learning breath control, front and back floating, and independent movement.
Class will be taught in shallow water up to 4 feet deep
Exit Skills: Independent back float, and Safe entry and exit skills in 4 feet of water, Must be comfortable submerging whole body and head.

Ages 3 & Up
Prerequisite: NONE

Primary Skills:
Students will learn to independently demonstrate floating, kicking, submerging, treading water, and basic introductory stroke skills.
Class is taught in shallow water up to 4 feet.
Exit Skills: Independent swimmming 5 yards, mastered both front and back floats, and comfortable in deep water.
