Salsa can be an effective stress reliever and boost your confidence. Salsa at City Dance Corps will transform you from an absolute beginner to an advanced dancer. A carefully constructed class syllabus has been designed so that each student can establish a comprehensive foundation and understanding necessary for effective progression.
Salsa Level 3 Program Overview
Salsa Level 3 is a comprehensive 12-week program divided into three 4-week syllabus modules. Each module introduces a new set of footwork, partnerwork patterns, and concepts, building on foundational skills. Dancers are required to complete all 12 classes to progress to the next level or must receive approval from their instructor.
Pre-Requisite: Salsa Level 2 or Salsa Assessment
This level follows Intro to Tango. Learn the subtleties
and power of connection as you further explore the art of leading
and following. You'll learn the distinctive tango walk and be
introduced to the signature tango movements that make this dance so
captivating. Ochos, dynamic pivots, and molinetes will become part
of your repertoire, allowing you to express your own unique style
while staying true to the core essence of tango.
Through partner rotations, you will have the opportunity to dance
with different individuals, enhancing your adaptability and
connection skills. Not only will you bond with fellow dance
enthusiasts, but you'll also witness the diverse interpretations of
tango, expanding your understanding of this passionate dance
