Biodanza: The Dance of Life + The Poetry of Human
Encounter
New Year’s Edition | Friday
1/2 at 7pm
Start the new year the way it’s meant to be lived — in your body, in connection, and in celebration. This New Year’s Biodanza gathering is an invitation to shake off the old, welcome what’s emerging, and step into 2026 with movement, presence, and shared humanity. No resolutions required — just show up as you are and let the dance do the rest.
Join us for an evening of movement, music, community, and heartfelt, intentional connection. Our “vivencia” (from the Spanish word vivir, meaning “to live”) will include a series of artfully guided dances and encounters designed to evoke core emotion and authentic expression. Together we will move, play, explore, and celebrate our collective aliveness. Come cast off the shackles of inhibition and swirl into the embrace of pure, unfiltered existence.
What is Biodanza?
The word “Biodanza” literally translates, from Spanish, to mean “The Dance of Life.” Founded in the 1960s by Chilean anthropologist and psychologist Rolando Toro, it is an elegant system of somatic and relational self-development that combines dance, music, archetypal gestures, and intentional connection to stimulate five lines of life force: vitality, sexuality, creativity, affectivity, and transcendence. It fosters reconnection with our vital instincts, our emotions, our bodies, and our in-the-flesh relationship with each other as dynamic, feeling human beings. Sometimes referred to as “The Poetry of Human Encounter,” it is truly a masterclass in embodied love.

New Years Community Heart Circle
As we step into a new year, there’s so much messaging telling us that it’s a new beginning: time to tackle the year with gusto and excitement. It’s time for the new and improved version of us.
But what if that message just feels misaligned or we don’t feel ready for it all to be new yet?
What if you're tender from the holidays…or what if the new year feels more like a task or burden? What if you’re holding grief, exhaustion, or distress over something unresolved?
What if “Happy New Year!” feels more like anxiety or salt in the wounds, rather than a celebration?
If that’s you.. That’s OK! You’re human.
And you deserve a space where you can both acknowledge and set down the things you’re carrying.
This is why Randi is hosting A New Year’s Community Heart Circle.
Together, we’ll slow down, breathe, and honor everything this past year held.
This circle is an invitation to pause, integrate, and
make room for what comes next, on your own timeline, and in your
own way.
This Circle Is For You If…
-
You’re entering the year with mixed feelings
-
You don’t feel into the shiny “new year new you” messaging that’s getting shoved down your throat
-
You want a ritual that honors where YOU are at
-
You want to feel seen and heard in your experience
-
You want to start the year feeling honest in where you’re at
This community heart circle will guide you through the process of acknowledging and moving through your feelings about the new year, so you can make space to invite the emotions you desire.
Sliding Scale: $40–$70
This sliding scale supports both accessibility and sustainability. Pricing helps cover the 3-hour event, space rental, snacks, and materials.
$70 supports the full cost of the circle, honors the labor and skill involved, and helps make lower-cost spots possible.
$60 covers core expenses and supports the ongoing offering of this work.
$50 covers the basics and fairly values the work.
$40 is a supported rate for those with limited financial capacity.
Please choose the rate that best fits your current resources. All participants are equally welcome and valued.

Through guided movement and music, we’ll explore the power of Biodanza to (re)awaken emotion, recover instinct, promote self-expression, foster joy, invite intimacy, and cultivate affective human bonds. Whether you’re a seasoned mover or a curious beginner, this somatic journey promises a powerful experience that celebrates our shared aliveness. Come discover the magic of The Dance of Life!
