& Harp-Guided Yoga Nidra
Honor the longest night of the year and the sacred turning of the
seasons in this deeply
restorative and symbolic practice. The winter solstice invites us
to turn inward, rest in the
darkness, and prepare for the return of the light. This unique
session offers a sanctuary to
embrace that natural rhythm.
Robin will lead you through a mindful, meditative Gentle Flow yoga
practice. Moving in
harmony with the natural transition of the solstice, this slow flow
is designed to gently release
the physical stagnation of winter, focusing on grounding postures
and fluid movements that
honor the body’s need for warmth and introspection.
The journey continues as we transition to the floor for a guided
Yoga Nidra, the ancient practice
of "yogic sleep." Nestled in supported rest, you
will be guided through a systematic process of
conscious relaxation, inviting deep rest to the nervous
system.
Diane will provide live, therapeutic sounds of the harp that will
gently guide your movements,
creating a deeply immersive environment. The integration of harp
therapy with yoga, offers a
powerful synergy of benefits that go beyond standard practice. The
harp's unique acoustic
qualities and the therapist's skilled application enhance
physical, emotional, and mental well-
being.
