Maybe you're considering starting a yoga practice, but you're not quite sure where to begin. Perhaps you find it a little intimidating to walk into a studio and practice with people who have already been coming to class for a while. Or maybe you've been to class, but you're still not quite sure if you're doing the poses correctly...
This workshop is for new, and new-ish, yogis who need a little assistance (or maybe a little push) with their budding yoga practice. We’ll start with a discussion about what brings us to our mats, and talk a bit about general yoga etiquette.
After the discussion, we'll move to the practice of asana (yoga poses), covering some of the basic, foundational poses you'll encounter in a typical yoga class including plank, Downward Facing Dog, Warrior I and Warrior II.
