The “vinyasa” is a mainstay of most yoga flow classes. Literally translated from Sanskrit it means “to put into place.” We’ll break down each of the asanas that make up the vinyasa, tadasana, uttanasana, chatarunga dandasana and the dogs: upward facing and downward facing to give us a strong understanding and foundation for the postures that follow in a typical yoga sequence and how it puts your practice “into place.”
