
Pre Musical Theatre/ Ballet Mondays at 4:30-5:15pm

Pre Musical Theater Dance/Ballet introduces jazz and ballet concepts in a fun way! Students will begin to learn the foundations of the Musical Theater Dance technique including proper posture, upper and lower body positions, and locomotor steps, while continuing to use props and playing fun games.Every five weeks they'll focus on a different musical! Students also get the fundamentals of ballet which all musical theatre dancers need!
DRESS CODE: (Girls) black leotard and black tights and black jazz shoes required. (Boys) black leggings, white t-shirt and ballet shoes. Hair must be pulled back.

Pre Hip Hop - Wednesdays 4:30-5:15pm

No class dates: August 30-September 1, November 24-30 (Thanksgiving break)
Registration required, repeatable. One class per week.
Class description: (Ages 5 - 6) Pre Hip Hop is an introduction to the hip hop techniques. This class is packed with fun while learning skills to develop agility, rhythm, creativity and spunk.
DRESS CODE: Comfortable clothing and clean gym shoes required. No skirts or dresses. Hair pulled away from face.

Youth Ballet 1 Monday 5:45-6:45pm
Session dates: August 25 - December 21
No class dates: August 30-September 1, November 24-30 (Thanksgiving break)
Registration required, repeatable. One class per week.
(Ages 7-11) Youth Ballet is for the child who has a
capacity to learn quickly, is passionate about ballet, and looking
to expand their dance studies. This class meets twice a week in
order to further the childs understanding of ballet
technique.
This class will focus on learning feet and leg positions, placement
and alignment of the body and arm (port de bras), jumps and
pirouettes.
DRESS CODE: Light blue leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes are required. Boys must wear a white shirt, black tights, leggings or black shorts, and ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled into a tight bun.
TARDY POLICY: If you are more than 5 minutes late to class, without giving the instructor advance notice you will be tardy, you will not be allowed into class that day.

Pre Pointe/Pointe Tuesdays 6:05 - 6:35pm Thursdays 6:00 - 6:30pm

This class is for students with at least 5 years of ballet training and for those who are on pointe or ready to go on pointe. The class will consist of a 30-minute pointe class. Students in levels 4A + 4B are required to take this class as strength training if they haven't been recommended for pre pointe/pointe work. Only students who have been recommended for Pre Pointe will go on pointe at the end of the year if they pass the assessment.
This class meets once a week, registration required

Adult Intermediate/ Advanced Ballet Wednesday at 6:30-8pm

Adult Ballet: Intermediate/Adv is a class for those with previous experience and confidence in the technique. The class will work on more complex steps and will move at a quicker pace.
Ballet is a great physical activity that involves cardio, stretching, concentration, music, and memory. It burns calories, lengthens and strengthens muscles and contributes to an all-around sense of well-being.
This is an engaging, upbeat class suited for dancers with considerable ballet experience. Teachers focus on helping students adjust their technical placement and posture for increased strength, mobility, and control. Dancers will work on pirouettes, beats in petit allegro, and other advanced techniques.
DRESS CODE: Moveable clothing and ballet shoes.
