Deepening Your Practice: Mapping the
Method from Mat to Mastery
Through the Balanced
Body Lens with Brigitte
Join us for a transformative, multi-apparatus series designed to explore the full arc of the Pilates method — from foundational movement to advanced repertoire — through the uniquely insightful lens of Brigitte's decades of experience. Drawing from her extensive work with Balanced Body and mentorship in Cara Reeser’s master program, Brigitte weaves classical principles with modern integration, helping you see how the method fits together as a whole.
Over a series of two-hour sessions, you’ll explore the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, and Mat — not as separate silos, but as parts of a connected movement story. We’ll follow the thread of shapes, themes, and transitions, showing how each piece prepares for and supports the next, and how it all maps back to the Mat.
Brigitte brings a clear, intuitive approach to session planning, guiding you to chase the through line, find deeper meaning in the work, and teach from a place of confidence and cohesion.
In this series, you’ll:
- Explore the Balanced Body repertoire from beginning to advanced
- Understand how exercises relate across apparatus and levels
- Learn to plan sessions that build logically and intentionally
- Discover the connections that help your teaching (and practice) feel whole
- Reignite your inspiration with Brigitte’s seasoned, story-driven approach
