Camp Description: Haunted Code – Design Spooky Games & Stories

In this thrilling, creative 2-day tech camp, kids will become digital creators as they design and code Halloween-themed games or interactive stories—complete with jump scares, creepy sound effects, and fun animations. Using Scratch, MakeCode Arcade, and Canva, campers will build spooky digital experiences that come to life!

Perfect for kids who love coding, art, and a little Halloween mischief — this camp mixes imagination with technical skills in a fun and festive way.

What They’ll Learn:

• Game Design with MakeCode & Scratch – Code interactive games, story triggers, and jump-scare moments using drag-and-drop tools
• Spooky Storytelling – Create suspenseful storylines with dialogue, timing, and animations
• Digital Art & FX – Design characters, backdrops, and audio FX using Canva and built-in editors
• Logic & Timing – Learn how sequencing and conditionals power game actions and surprises
