Experience your Moving Meditation Practice: The authentic integrity and purpose of Yoga Chikitsa practice known as yoga therapy for your mind, body and spirit where it prepares you to sweat out the toxins, freeing the whole body to rejuvenation.

 Workshop clinic: What’s your purpose for this practice? Applying the Gifts of Tristana (Bandhas, Drishti, Pranayama) magic locks to float, Jump throughout, arm balances, Backbends, inversions, a joyful practice. Prepare to have fun, connection, hands-on experience.

 

Christina has been a practitioner and teacher of the Ashtanga Yoga System for over 15 +years. From 2006-present founder and director of dedicated Ashtanga Yoga studio, Shala Santosha Yoga & Wellness. She now resides in Paradise Maui, originally from the island of Guam and has lived in California, traveling internationally teaching and sharing holistic Ashtanga yoga practice. http://www.<wbr />christinamartiniyoga.com 

What’s makes her unique, authentic and special? Christina specializes in the integration of the Ashtanga Yoga Practice of Breath and Movement of Postures with the principles towards healing, health, wellness and well-being. Exploring the roots, depth of Yogic philosophy on and off the mat to Breathe Well, Eat Well and Live Well.

Christina offers students a journey to explore awareness, to a more meaningful perspective into developing a personal practice towards Mindful, Joyful and Healthy life.

Christina is an active licensed oncology-cancer nurse, advocate and navigator to cancer patients. Certified yoga educator, health and wellness ambassador. A member to holistic nurses association, American college of lifetime medicine, E-RYT, YACEP educator. More importantly, she is a humble dedicated forever student, teacher and practitioner of the Ashtanga lineage, devoted to creating the many facets of the practice to flow into health and well-being. You will discover yourself enlightened by her wisdom, knowledge, experiences, intuition, humor, strength and guidance.

Christina is very passionate about the individual personal relationship she develops along the teachings of true yoga practices, eating and living mindfully as she adds compassion and light, therapeutic powerful, hands-on approach, assists, adjustments to all her classes and workshops.
