This 4-week series of 60-minute classes gives those who are brand new to aerial yoga an experience that will leave you feeling comfortable and confident.
Students will:
- Finish feeling confident being in the swing or hammock
- Learn basic safety and aerial classroom etiquette
- Train in basic movements to strengthen the body to eventually learn more intermediate poses
- Experience and feel good with challenges not felt in traditional yoga
Just like the temperature, the atmosphere in a Hygge Yoga class (pronounced hoo-gah) is gentle, warm, and cozy with togetherness of community highlighted. The parlor and hot tea bar open 30-minutes before each class to relax and enjoy the company of classmates and new friends. We highly encourage full use of this bonus-time to experience the full benefit of this class series. This is a signature Flow Motion yoga class designed to balance the nervous system for those living high-stress lives.
Yin yoga is explored in our Hygge class series where you'll experience a slow-paced style of yoga with postures held for longer periods of time to achieve a deep stretch and state of relaxation. As you breathe through each asana, you will be invited to find your body’s “edge.” By creating and then working through this tension in the body, you'll find release, healing, and mental clarity. Practice and patience is encouraged as your body releases into each pose with the aid of breath and focused attention.
This class is simple with candlelight and aromatherapy, using doTerra's Hygge blend of essential oils affecting mood and emotions as soon as you walk in. Students also enjoy a northern lights display, tying in the Scandinavian roots of the Hygge movement, and working synergistically to help set the mood of contentment with the little things in this class.

You’ll learn practical tools to help quiet the mind, stay present, and manage distractions—including breath awareness, body scans, and anchoring techniques. Each week builds on the last, giving you time to explore different approaches and find what works best for you. We’ll also discuss how to create a simple meditation habit at home, so you can carry the calm with you beyond the cave.

Sound baths are group experiences where a variety of musical instruments, including metal and crystal signing bowls, are used to help you relax and enter into deeper brainwave patterns. This is the space where the body heals and repairs itself. Meditate, nap, or just lay back and enjoy the space in between sleep and awake.
Our Grounding Sound Bath is all about coming back to center. Using deeper-toned instruments and slow, rhythmic playing, the it invites you to settle into stillness, reconnect with your body, and feel fully rooted. Expect earthy resonance, long low tones, and minimal transitions to help calm an overactive mind and stabilize scattered energy.
This sound bath is for you if: you feel anxious, overwhelmed, mentally “spinning,” or have a hard time staying present. It’s ideal for those managing stress, burnout, or transitions, and anyone needing to feel grounded and safe in their body again.
Sound baths are group experiences where a variety of crystal singing bowls, metal singing bowls, and musical instruments are used to help you relax and enter into deeper brainwave patterns. This is the space where the body heals and repairs itself. Meditate, nap, or just lay back and enjoy the space in between sleep and awake. Your experience will be in our Twilight Room or Radiance Room, with low, warm light. A yoga mat and blanket will be provided or you may bring your own mat from home.
