This second session builds directly on the foundations established in Roots of the Practice, beginning with a brief review of key principles from Week 1, including alignment, breath awareness, and purposeful transitions.
From there, we will expand into the remaining standing postures, exploring how strength, stability, and balance are developed through clear structure and mindful effort. Postures will be approached step by step, with attention to grounding, joint alignment, and the intelligent use of breath to support steadiness and ease.
Emphasis will be placed on how the standing postures work together to build a resilient foundation for the rest of the practice—supporting balance, endurance, and clarity as we move toward seated postures and integrated flow in the weeks ahead.
Ideal for practitioners who feel comfortable in a led class and want to continue refining their standing practice while deepening confidence, strength, and stability through classical technique. Those attending our Level 1-2 classes or above are welcome to attend.

This third session shifts the focus toward seated postures, building on the strength, stability, and alignment developed in the standing work of the previous weeks. We will begin with a brief review of key principles from earlier sessions, then move into seated postures with an emphasis on creating depth without strain.
Postures will be explored step by step, with attention to hip function, spinal alignment, and the intelligent use of breath to support both steadiness and ease. Emphasis will be placed on cultivating sustainable effort—learning how to balance strength and softness so that seated postures become stable, spacious, and accessible over time.
This session offers an opportunity to slow down and refine technique, helping practitioners develop greater awareness and sensitivity in seated postures while preparing for a more integrated, breath-led practice in the final week.
Ideal for practitioners who feel comfortable in a led class and want to deepen their seated practice with clarity, care, and precision.
Those attending our Level 1-2 classes or above are welcome to attend.
This final session brings together the principles and practices explored throughout the Classical Yoga Foundations workshop series. Beginning with a brief review of key alignment, breath, and movement concepts from the previous weeks, we will move into a guided, integrated practice that weaves standing and seated postures into a cohesive whole.
The practice will be led at a steady, accessible pace, emphasizing clear transitions, breath-led movement, and thoughtful sequencing. Attention will be given to how individual postures connect, how breath supports continuity, and how alignment principles carry through the entire practice—from opening movements to closing poses.
This session offers an opportunity to experience the practice as an integrated flow, applying what you’ve learned with greater confidence, awareness, and ease. Ideal for practitioners who feel comfortable in a led class and want to consolidate their understanding while experiencing the benefits of a unified, sustainable practice.
Those attending our Level 1-2 classes or above are welcome to attend.
