Hoops Troop Skills Academy is the foundation of our program. All players participate in Skills Academy sessions, where the focus is on fundamentals, player development, and building basketball IQ.

Each session emphasizes:

• Ball handling, passing, and shooting mechanics

• Footwork, defense, and conditioning

• Teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship

Skills Academy is designed to ensure that every player, whether new to the game or with experience, learns the core skills needed to succeed on the court.

Note: Skills Academy enrollment is required for all participants. Players selected for travel/competitive teams will attend Skills Academy plus Team Practice sessions (invite only).
