You’re invited to an extended-length Restorative and Yoga Nidra class, with an all-levels experience designed to allow your body time to release and restore in a calm, soothing environment.
You will experience a rebalancing Yoga Nidra, then be led into the deep relaxation that Restorative yoga has to offer.
There are four main aspects of a Restorative Yoga practice that are
included in this class. Still. Quiet. Dark. Warm. All of these
elements allow your body to begin the process of softening and
quieting. This allows your nervous system to take refuge.
This gentle practice in stillness can often be challenging for our busy natures. But the conscious act of offering yourself rest is the ultimate form of self-care. You will be guided into shapes that are fully supported with props, which then creates ease and opening.
A restorative practice differs from yin, in that there is no deep
stretching. Rather, each restorative shape allows the opportunity
for a mini-meditation and internal reflection.
If you have a blanket you love, bring it with you. This can help
ease you into the refuge you desperately need. Otherwise, we have
the props to support you.

Join our current YTT cohort as Reg leads this informative workshop to learn, practice, and cultivate your hands-on assist teaching and cuing skills.
We will practice assists and cuing in most of the primary poses found in a traditional vinyasa flow class.
The workshop will include advanced poses such as handstands, arm balances, and assisted deep stretch poses (using Thai Yoga techniques)!
You will leave this workshop prepared to offer hands-on assists safely, effectively, and with a renewed sense of confidence in cuing poses in any yoga setting - from private lessons to large classes.
