Join Michelle and others for our 2nd Annual free Wellness event, as you
experience different practices guaranteed to nurture your body,
mind, and soul.
We'll begin with a flowing (all levels are welcome) yoga class,
followed by yin (deep stretching) postures, and finishing with a
guided meditation and sound bath.
Cultivating a balanced life is challenging; let us help you renew,
recharge, and thrive in this new year.
Event Schedule:
* We ask you please avoid arriving late or leaving in the middle of a session, especially during meditation and sound bath portions
** There will be a 15-minute gap between sessions for those who decide to come and go.
Review of major joints, joint classification, and muscle groups. Discussion of the major injuries and issues we encounter, possible causes of those injuries/issues, postures contraindicated for those injuries, and how to offer modified postures for injured students within the context of a group vinyasa class without having to disrupt the flow of the class for the student. We will also learn to offer postures commonly indicated to help particular conditions, as well as creating a foundational understanding that yoga instructors are not physicians and should never indicate to students that they have a level of knowledge that they do not.
