200 Hour Teacher Training- Foundations of Yoga
In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. ~Buddha
This is easier said than done, but yoga teaches that in order to change the patterns of the mind and to cease the fluctuations of the mind, we need discipline and practice. Learn the systematic approaches to quieting the mind, the value and power of them, and the skills to pass onto others, so that these practices aren't only for ourselves, but for the greater good of all.
The most authentic teaching comes from deep, personal experience. This 6 week program is intended to inspire devotion and discipline within our personal practices. For aspiring yoga teachers, this in depth certification program will prepare you with a solid understanding of the foundations of yoga. Rooted in Patanjali's Eight Fold Path, the curriculum will be rich with philosophy, pranayama, and meditation. It will prepare teachers to lead students safely and intelligently with an understanding of anatomy and alignment within the asana, as well as the ability to thread philosophy into Hatha and Vinyasa classes.
