Exploring Music

Unlimited make-up classes for any Level 1 class as space allows.
Class Description:
A precursor to private lessons down the road, preschoolers ages 3-5 explore music basics, singing, rhythm, and introductory piano in our fun and engaging group class.
Level 1 is a perfect introduction to music education, designed specifically for your preschooler's age and skills. Students will learn the order of the musical alphabet, white notes on the piano, sing songs, and learn to count rhythms, all in a play-based setting. Gradutate to Level 2 when you're ready for more of a challenge.
No home piano or practicing is requred.
Adults are recommended to stay for class (especially with 3-year-old students) but not required. Siblings may stay in the classroom as long as they observe quietly.
Grand Avenue Preschool students will be picked up and dropped off from their classrooms by our teachers. Parents, be sure to turn in an Activities Form to the GAP office before the first day of music class.

Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders explore piano, singing, rhythm and music basics in our fun and engaging group class.
Level 2 is a diverse prep class that will get your child ready for private lessons or children’s choir down the road. Students will learn to play easy songs on the piano, sing do-re-mi, learn music symbols, and count rhythms in a play-based setting.
