In our Prenatal Yoga classes, we embrace the unique challenges and joys of pregnancy, fostering a sense of togetherness while prioritizing the health and well-being of both mother and baby. This course is thoughtfully designed to empower you with mindfulness, physical strength, and relaxation techniques tailored to the journey of pregnancy.
 
The class commences with an open sharing circle, allowing you to voice your current triumphs and challenges in pregnancy. This platform encourages a nurturing environment where experiences within the ever-evolving healthcare system can be exchanged, fostering camaraderie and understanding among participants.
 
Following is a transition into a harmonious blend of meditation and kriya practices specifically curated for the pregnant body. These practices serve as anchors for grounding and connecting with your inner self, while preparing your body and mind for the transformative journey ahead.
 
Our yoga sequences are centered around supporting the unique needs of your body during pregnancy. These sequences combine balancing, strengthening, and gentle stretching poses that alleviate common discomforts such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain, and sciatica. Emphasis is placed on cultivating deep breathing techniques, enabling you to remain centered and calm in the face of change.
 
This practice serves a dual purpose: not only does it provide you with tools for serene relaxation during pregnancy, but it also equips you with techniques that can be employed during the birthing process, promoting a sense of control and tranquility.

Calling all Expecting Mamas!

In today’s world, pregnancy can be isolating. You need to stay safe for the health of you & your baby! However, connecting to a community of women is so important.
~
Join our Prenatal group! We start each class by sharing our current joys (& not so happy moments) of pregnancy, as well as our experiences in the ever changing health care system. We then settle into practice with pregnancy specific meditations & kriyas, followed with gentle yoga designed to support the needs of the pregnant body & your sweet, growing baby. Class concludes with deep guided meditation which teaches you to go into deep relaxation, the kind you will use when you give birth to your baby. This class is taught virtually, all in the safety & comfort of your home!

Classes are virtually held! Tuesdays 5-6pm with Kat

 

Yoga helps alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy: nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain, & sciatica. This class includes a mixture of balancing, strengthening & stretching poses that are appropriate during pregnancy, emphasizing breathing & relaxation.
